The appellant in the instant appeal requested Defence Housing Authority to provide the copies of documents subject to qualifications and experience that was submitted by the functionaries of M/s EPCS (Private) Limited, Lahore to PEC at the time of registration and renewal of License.
The respondent in response to a notice of this commission stated the requested is from the disclosure under the Right of Access to Information Act, 2017.
Pakistan Information Commission in this order has directed Administrator, Defence Housing Authority, Gujranwala to provide the requested information with intimation to this office, at the earliest, but in any case, not later than 10 working days.
The Respondent is also directed to designate Public Information Officer as required under Section 9 of the Act and upload its notification along with the name, designation and contact details on its website as required under Section 5 (1) (b) and (h) of the Act and submit compliance report to the commission within 10 working days of the receipt of this order.
