The appellant being an old worker of PMLN expects from his party to award him with any special seat like Special Assistant to Prime Ministry (SAPM) and as per reply sent to the appellant by Election Commission of Pakistan vide letter dated 20-03-22 no law under Election Act, 2017 and Election Rules 2017 bounds parties to give preference or award any political benefit/honorary seats to its workers on basis of inherited affiliation, loyalty and funding etc.
The grievance of the appellant mentioned in his complaint or appeal is to have any special award from his party which is not in the domain of this commission, hence said grievance cannot be addressed. The appeal is found not maintainable hence, is dismissed.
