In the instant appeal, the appellant has sought record about recruitment of Registrar BS-18 in the office of Federal Ombudsmen Lahore. The documents requested by the appellant are public record as per the Right of Access to Information Act, 2017. None of the said document enjoys the privilege or is otherwise a secret document. Since the respondent has failed to appear before the commission, hence is proceeded against ex-party. The appeal is allowed. The Respondent is directed to provide requested information to the appellant within 10 working days of the receipt of this Order.
