Order on Appeal No: 2282-10/22 Omer Jehangir Vs Federal Public Service Commission

The appellant, while filing appeal dated 26-9-22, submitted that the respondent FPSC, while appearing before the Hon’ble Lahore High Court, Lahore through its letter dated 23-12-2021 made the following reply:

“the recruitment process is carried out in the light of notified recruitment rules and as per general instructions to the candidates approved by the Chairman.”

According to the appellant he has not been able to trace out notification mentioned in para 8 of the letter of the respondent public body 23-12-21, that he also has not been able to trace the provision of law that empowers the Federal Public Service Commission to frame any kind of Rules by itself.

The appellant has requested to provide him notification mentioned in para 8 of letter of FPSC letter dated 23-12-2021.

The respondent has provided copy of general instructions and rules, however he has objected that under instruction 26, of general instructions, no query or information will be provided to anyone other than the candidate.
