The Citizen in the instant appeal has asked for the list of officers who have been noticed by the Auditor General of Pakistan during the audit reports 2014-15.
The public body in response to the notice of this Commission submitted that Annual Audit Reports for Commercial Audit Enterprises for the year 2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17 related to Finance Division and the Audit paras as mentioned by the applicant are related to Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited. These Audit Reports have already been printed and laid before the parliament as per Article 171 of the Constitution of Pakistan. For implementation status the applicant is requested to kindly approach the Public Accounts Committee Secretariat, Islamabad or the Principal Accounting Officer (PAO) of the Organization i.e. Secretary Finance. The implementation of PAC/DAC directives is the responsibility of concerned PAO.
The appeal is disposed of, with no further directions to the public body.
