The appellant requested following information from the Finance Division;
Detailed facts/data including the rationale/ justification that were made part of the ‘proposal of 10% increase in the pension of civil pensioners of the Federal Government in the budget proposals for Budget of FY 2021-22 placed by Finance Division before the Cabinet for consideration/approval prior to Finance Minister’s budget speech in the National Assembly; and
Detailed facts/ data including the rationale/ justifications that were made part of the proposals of revising the amount of orderly allowance from Rs. 14,000/- to Rs. 17,500/- p.m in the budget proposals for Budget of FY 2021-22 placed by Finance Division before the Cabinet for consideration/approval prior to Finance Minister’s budget speech in the National Assembly.”
After reading the contents of the request, and evaluating the reply submitted by the asking respondent in the light of the provision of the Act. This commission holds that in the instant appeal the public body has addressed all the questions asked by the appellant in his information requested.
The appeal is dismissed with no further directions to the public body.
