Mr. Asim Naveed filed a request under the Right of Access Information Act, 2017 through the Pakistan Citizen Portal. Through his complaint number IS260721-88776889 he has desired the publication of working hours/days of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited on its official website.
The respondent public body has dropped the complaint as the matter of the complaint is not actionable / cognizable.
Feeling aggrieved of the decision he has filed the appeal before the Pakistan Commission on access to information, Islamabad.
This Commission allowed the appeal and directed the Public Information Officer, Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited to furnish the appellant all the requested information pertaining to the working hours and days of the public body and upload the same on the official website of the organization, forthwith, but in any case not later than seven days of the receipt of this order.
