This commission is of the view that the request to have access to the last two audit reports of IESSI and when was the audit conducted last time, total number of the sanctioned posts in the department, along with the details of the vacant posts (pay scale wise break-up), certified copy of the employyes’ directory along with their job descriptions of IESSI, having details of the employees working on contract/daily wage as well and the details about the steps taken by the department to develop its own web site as required under the Section 5 of the Right of Access to Information Act 2017 is a matter of public importance.
This commission is of the view that this information should not have only been provided to the Appellant on his request but it should have been proactively published on the web site of the Respondent.
