The appellant requested Ministry of Narcotics Control to provide information about drug traffickers arrested by Anti-Narcotics Force during last five years.
She has also requested information about the budget allocated to ANF and its utilization.
The Respondent, Ministry of Narcotics Control neither responded to notices of the commission, nor attended the hearings held in Pakistan Information Commission.
Pakistan Information Commission ordered the Ministry of Narcotics Control to provide the requested information to the appellant within 10 working days.
The public body is also directed to take immediate steps to proactively share through the web site all categories of information mentioned in Section 5 of the Right of Access to Information Act 2017 and submit the compliance report to the commission by October 07, 2021.
