The Appellant in the instant appeal requested information about gender and age disaggregated data on COVID-19 infections (morbidity) and deaths (mortality) from the first reported case to date in Pakistan.
He also requested certified information about the total number of fully vaccinated and partially vaccinated person data from the first administrated dose of COVID-19 vaccine to the current date.
This Commission has observed that the public body has created a dedicated website i.e. https://covid.gov.pk to keep the citizen update from the situation of the Covid-19 in the country. The said website contains similar kind of information that is requested by the Appellant. The Appellant has sought the gender wise breakup of the data that is almost available on the website of the Government of Pakistan maintained by the Respondent.
Ministry of National Health Services, Regulations and Coordination is directed to provide complete requested information of this Order to the Appellant, at the earliest but not later than 7 working days of the receipt of this Order, with intimation to this office.
