The Respondent, Ministry of Railways, is directed to share information about the amount of funds utilized form public exchequer on the advertisement of all types (public service messages, awareness campaigns, jobs, tenders etc.) In print and electronic media from May 2019 to May 2020 within 10 working days with the appellant.
The public body is also directed to take immediate steps to proactively share through the website all categories of information mentioned in Section 5 of the Right of Access to Information Act 2017 and submit compliance report to the commission.
