Mr Fawad Malik, Advocate Supreme Court after doing his study in Law,has been practising for a period spanning over thirty years.Ever since joining the chamber of his father Malik Mohammad Ashraf Awan, a prominent lawyer of Sargodha in 1988, he has been practicing both civil and criminal law.After being eligible to practice law at the High Court level,he had the honour of working in association with and learning finer points of legal intricacies from Dr Khalid Ranjha former Federal Law Minister and Senior Advocate Supreme Court.

Fawad Malik was appointed Assistant Advocate General for the Province of Punjab in the year 2003 and served against this post till 2009, where after he resumed his practice and was enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan in 2005.He practiced both at High Court and Supreme Court levels till November 2018,when he was appointed as Federal Information Commissioner.
