This commission holds that the requested information available with the Respondent has been provided to the Appellant. Furthermore, the Respondent is not custodian of certain information/records requested by the Appellant and the same has been intimated to the Appellant.
It is encouraging to note that more and more citizens are exercising their right of access to information held by federal public bodies. This commission has observed that often citizens find it difficult to write proper requests for information.
