The appellant requested National Assembly Secretariat to provide information regarding the position advertised for SDG Coordinator based in the SDG Secretariat, National Assembly of Pakistan, in May 2021.
In response to the notice of the Commission, the public body submitted a comprehensive response to the application of the appellant.
Response submitted by the public body was shared with the appellant, however, the appellant submitted a rejoinder and raised additional questions.
This commission holds that objections raised by the Appellant are neither part of the original request for information nor can be treated as requests for information under the Act. If the Appellant needs any additional information, he should file a new information request to the public body under the Right of Access to Information Act, 2017.
