The information was sought about a copy of law/by-laws/ rules regarding the registration, regulation and monitoring of IGNOs and Foreign Funding Agencies, details of US based INGOs and US Government Funding Agencies and details of local NGOs and Private entities receiving funds from US based INGOs and Government /Funding Agencies. The commission ordered the Ministry of Interior to provide the requested information as it was public information under Section 5 (b), (c), (d) and Under 6 (c) of the Right of Access to Information Act 2017.
